Dr. Clive Freeman
Clive manages the Contract Research function at Materials Design.
Prior to joining Materials Design, Clive was director of Technical Services at Accelrys, and held a series of positions at Polygen, BIOSYM, and MSI from scientist to director. His work focuses on the solution of chemical and materials problems through the use of computer simulation.
Clive has authored over 50 scientific articles and publications examining a broad range of molecular, materials, sensor, catalyst, and sorbent applications and properties.
Clive holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. from University College London and has held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Keele, Staffordshire and The Royal Institution, London.
When not conducting research, developing software, or working with clients, you may find Clive collaborating on the development of novel solutions to gas ignition problems.
