Ellen Miller-Goins
Ellen came to Materials Design® in 2005 as an office manager. To help accommodate the ever-expanding needs of the company, she took on the challenge of human resources in 2010. In her role as Director of Human Resources, she contributes to the progress and advancement of the firm, through its most valuable asset...its people.
Before coming to work at Materials Design®, Ellen was an award-winning writer, photographer and news editor at the Sangre de Cristo Chronicle newspaper in Angel Fire, New Mexico.
She holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of New Mexico.
Ellen makes her home in Red River, New Mexico, where, she and husband Geoff are owners of Enchanted Forest Cross Country Ski Area, a business both helped grow from the ground up alongside her parents.
Ellen still finds time for writing and photography and also enjoys alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and running.
