Develop and grow sales of Materials Design, Inc. software and services in commercial and government accounts in the eastern US. Interact with CTOs, VPs, and Directors in R&D organizations, as well as end users and, working closely with our scientific staff, position the business benefits of using atomistic simulation to complement experiment. Identify leads, and qualify these. Meet or exceed quota. Maintain an extensive and active pipeline by continuously adding new prospects as business is closed. Maintain accurate records of all customers and prospects in Salesforce.com.
The qualified candidate will have a proven track record of selling scientific software and associated services to commercial and government accounts. The candidate will have established contacts in materials R&D departments. He/she will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Educational requirements include at least a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field.
The territory is the Eastern US. Location is flexible.
