Elastic Properties of Diamond
Calculation of elastic properties is straightforward with MedeA's Mechanical and Thermal Properties module.
Elastic constants (GPa):
C11 1075.00 ± 5.65
C12 139.30 ± 5.65
C44 567.20 ± 7.99
The errors are from the least-squares fit and only give the numerical uncertainty.
