QuesTek International LLC, and Materials Design Inc. today announced the formation of a collaboration partnership.
QuesTek’s Materials by Design® technology is proven to reduce the development time and cost and increase the performance of novel materials. In its market space, QuesTek is the first and only provider to execute the full cycle from novel design to production, certification, and flight operations with proprietary materials, in a fraction of the time and cost of preceding methods. QuesTek technology is now directly available to end users in the market through its ICMD® SaaS offering.
Materials Design Inc. provides the market’s most comprehensive atomistic modeling and simulation software for materials science. The company’s MedeA Environment provides software, databases, builders, compute engines, and forcefield simulations that render extremely precise atomistic and nano-scale models, helping clients understand the engineering science of materials at the level of atomic interactions.
The partnership will connect MedeA Environment outputs to ICMD® models to provide common clients with the most accurate predictive and prescriptive materials designs and compositions available. Noteworthy solution targets include mitigating severe degradations, such as those causing hydrogen embrittlement in green energy alternatives and those related to tritium in emerging fusion energy applications.
